Dr. Lisa Lavaysse, PSY.D

Lisa is a warm and empathetic tester who easily establishes rapport with students. She is bilingual in Spanish, which is a huge help. The students of mine who have worked with her adored her, and felt seen by her, and her reports have been of the utmost quality.

Dr. Lavaysse is a gifted and passionate psychologist who helped us understand our child's learning disabilities and how to advocate for her in school. She is caring and compassionate.

We sought the treatment of Dr. Lisa Lavaysee for our then 19 year old daughter due to anxiety and socialization skills that increased dramatically when she started college. Because our daughter was considered an adult at the time, although emotionally and mentally she was more like a 15 year old, there was communication restraints which we understood. Our daughter continued to tell Lisa that she authorized Lisa to talk with us about her sessions and recommended treatment, however Lisa chose not to keep us informed, even suggesting medication to our daughter without our knowing. This has escalated to the point where Lisa is texting our daughter late at night, meeting her for lunch and advising her in ways we know nothing about. Our daughter dropped out of college and has cutoff most communication with us, without any explanation. We are extremely concerned for our daughter and feel that the boundaries of therapist and client have been compromised and so has our family relations.
