Dr. Lisa Carroll, OD

They fail to properly bill insurance companies or make mistakes when submitting proper claims with correct insurance information and want the patient to make payments. I was informed of a two year old claim that was denied and asked for information so I could call the insurance company. Never received the information and when I called to confirm my appointment was told by Gale that Doctor Carroll said for me not to show up id I could not pay the bill. I was denied information regarding the claims they were trying to collect on and denied an opportunity to speak with the doctor to confirm if in fact she made such a shocking statement. I received a call from another office clerk who stated that the bottom line was I owed the money and would only be seen if I paid. If in fact Doctor Carroll is responsible for this unbecoming behavior, SHAME on her and I hope that one day she or a loved ones will experience the same type of mean and greedy behavior she bestowed on her patients.

Rude staff, office outdated, awful selection of designer frames, and doctor could have a friendlier manner during exams. Couldn't get in to see the dr for emergency exam for over a week and had to continuously call back before they squeezed me in. Received a bill with no explanation what it was for 3 months after the emergency exam, but they made sure to charge my insurance! Called to discuss the unexplained bill and office manager was argumentative over the phone. Will not be going back.

Been going for years. Very thorough and professional. Has gone out of her way to provide outstanding service during emergency situations.
