I saw Lisa in triage a few months ago when I was 3 days past my due date. As someone mentioned below, she didn't have much compassion or bedside manners. I was in triage for about 3 to 4 hours. She told me I wasn't in active labor and only 1 cm dialated and that the contractions that I was feeling were false labor. I was sent home around 1130. She asked the triage nurse to give me a shot. I was told the shot would decrease my contractions and I would sleep for about four hours. My contractions were worse and I could not sleep. My water broke around 6 pm. When my fiance called, she told him I cannot be admitted until about 10 to 11 pm. My contractions were very severe at home and I had the urgency to push that whole time. My baby was born with meconium in her lungs and was in the NICU for several days. I believe this is because we were told not to come in when my water broke. With all of the COVID things, I have not called to make a complaint, but I am going to.

Midwife Billiter was rude and made me feel like I did something wrong, when all I did was come into the office because I was having contractions. There was no empathy or bedside manner. There was no compassion or understanding. After a brief review I was told that I was having contractions, but not in active labor. Honestly, after she was so rude, I just wanted to leave the office. I am 38 weeks pregnant and do not need to deal with a haughty midwife. I am leaving this practice.
