Lindsey Wright

I can not stop talking about Lindsey. She is amazing. I started seeing her in 2021 and I “graduated therapy” in Oct 2023. I can not explain how much my life has changed. She will always be part of my life because she helped me become the person I am right now. I am an immigrant who was trying to learn how to set my boundaries with my parents and also trying to be emotionally available for friendships and romantic relationships. She helped me with all these and some more I didn’t even think about. She is direct and tells you like it is, which was something I really appreciated. After hearing about some of my friends experiences, I appreciated her even more. I 100% recommend.

I had one session with Lindsey Wright. It was a tele-session. She seemed distracted and disinterested. Her reactions were disproportionate to the situations I described. For example, she reacted strongly to minor harmless social conflict that was for background, but had no reaction or questions to more serious and impactful conflicts, despite me explaining a physical reaction to trauma. Also, despite me signing and submitting lots of paperwork in advance, she wasted 10-15 minutes going over the disclosures that I already read, signed, agreed to, and submitted. Perhaps this is an indication of her inexperience or lack of confidence. When patients ask for help with specific feelings and reactions, do them the courtesy of listening and acknowledging those concerns. Don't look off to the side like you are distracted. Don't waste patients' time re-explaining in detail disclosures already signed and filed.
