Extremely rude PA.
I was seen by Lindsey in the CRH ER, immediately upon entering the room she was incredibly passive aggressive. I was being seen for syncope, I had fainted while walking into work and had been advised to be evaluated by the ER staff. I admittedly am a huge baby when it comes to needles. I was terrified to get an IV & asked if I could have a minute to breathe before the PCT started. Instead, the PCT grabbed my arm & held it down, attempting to begin the IV. “Please stop I need a moment” I expressed, as I was asked by Lindsey why I was now tearful, & told I needed to be a “big girl”. The last thing I expected was to be coddled, I was not trying to waste anyone’s time or refuse care. I simply needed to collect myself. After fainting and being brought to the ER I was anxious as is. I am freshly 18, I was alone & scared. Lindsey did absolutely nothing but worsen the situation. I was appalled by the way she acted regarding my fear of getting the IV, very condescending.
