Lindsey Henderson, OT

I have never left an appointment feeling less respected and worthless by someone so rude and ill-informed in my entire life. Lindsey did not even bother to read anything in my file before my appointment, and spent the entire time (I only stayed 15 min of my 1 hour appt) demeaning me for things that seemed to apply to someone else with a completely different disability, telling me I wasn’t trying hard enough to overcome my disability at my work, referring to my arms and hands, etc. My neurologist referred me there for memory and cognitive issues. She advised that she’s a “straight shooter that tells it like it is”, before telling me that all she hears me saying is that I “can’t do things”. As though I was coming to an occupational therapist to tell her what I CAN do…for her to reward me about the things that I CAN do, rather than to help me with the things that I CANNOT do. Emotionally draining experience, to say the least. Avoid Lindsey at all costs.
