NOT adequately trained in ADHD
I urge strong caution with going to Dr. Rice for an ADHD assessment. She is not up to speed on current research and is likely to misdiagnose adults with ADHD. She had clearly made up her mind before testing me. She was also extremely unresponsive and unprofessional. She sent the report out and then offered a discussion. Her summary of the analysis misrepresented both the scoring of the tests and the information communicated in the interviews, which further underscored that she was aligning her analysis with her original assumptions rather than an open-minded review of the data. Some of the characteristics that she identified as being unrelated to ADHD are the very signifiers of adult ADHD. I ultimately got a second opinion, was diagnosed with ADHD and am on medication. She set me back months and might have discouraged me completely from pursuing treatment. I shared this with her and she was suddenly exceptionally responsive when it came to defending her own practice.

Do NOT go to her!!!
It took 3 weeks longer than the 2 she promised to get results and once I got the results she said they are invalid and my test didn’t count. She then gave her personal opinion numerous times and told me how to parent my children so I’m not so stressed and followed it up with “good luck to you” her results state that she decided on the results during the pre evaluation in her office and not based off of the test results, meaning she went ahead and let me take the 5 hour test even though she already decided the outcome and then had the NERVE to make me wait an extra few weeks knowing I was waiting on the results in order to move. She’s unprofessional and it was the WORST experience with a dr I’ve ever hadz

Took 3 months to get an assessment returned
I was told an ADHD assessment would take two weeks, so I completed one with her. I emailed and called her for 3 months for my results - no response. She finally sent the results to me after my therapist reached out, stating that she has been sick. I hope she feels better now, because all of her staff must've been sick as well for the same duration since no one was able to respond to any of my inquiries.
