Personally, I didn’t feel safe with care from Linda Joshua NP (A Women’s Center). I feel like this should be out there for other professionals and other possible patients. Listed is PART of my experience *she refused to explain to me what my possible diagnosis could be/told me if I wanted to understand in better terms I would need to start getting thick books on endocrinology *gave me a prescription “because it wouldn’t hurt” and did it without confirming with a blood test that I even needed it(2nd opinion suggested not to take it) *i began crying in the office, so she said she would go out to grab the prescription *she came back 10 minutes later with coffee on her breath, read word for word/pointing slowly at each word on the prescription like I was a child *after expressing my bad experience, she left the room saying “well, you can do whatever you want” If I were a patient in a sad place, what she did would have been devastating in my quest for help from a professional.
