She inserts herself and her own emotions into her "therapy" sessions - she takes things personally that have nothing to do with her. She is constantly interrupting. When I explained why an idea might not work for me she twice accused me of being "too negative" and berated me for it. She is also disorganized and chaotic, has a terrible web connection, and allows dogs and pigs to create awful background noise. Completely unprofessional and gives therapists a terrible name.

I’ve been seeing Leslie for almost 3 years and she has helped me through so much! I have a lot of trauma throughout my life that has affected me. When I first started talking to her I felt so hopeless and unsure of myself, I was in a very abusive relationship. Is am no longer in that relationship and I am finally feeling like myself again, but better! I would honestly recommend her and have recommended her because she truly cares. My family and friends have all commented saying you just seem so much happier, we’ll I am. One of my favorite things about talking to her is that she can relate to you, it’s not just going by textbook. I appreciate that.

There is a difference between a great therapist and a wonderful therapist. Leslie Teerlink is the perfect example of a wonderful therapist. Throughout my life I have searched for a therapist who I could connect with and trust. That is down to earth and attentive. Understanding that sometimes our sessions will be super productive, through brainspotting and other methods to help with processing, and other times giving me a space to talk. It wasn't until my doula recommended that I see Leslie to work through my postpartum depression and anxiety that I truly found a therapist I connected with. She helped me adjust to motherhood, connect with my child and husband. Made me realize that I am a wonderful and worthy person. She goes above and beyond to connect with me between sessions to check in. Along with being there if I need an extra session or just a few minutes to help me process something. Even with the occasional technology issues, it is easy to schedule with and she is willing to sch

She spent too much time talking about her own children and her own mental health experiences and not enough listening. Opens up trauma and doesn't process it with you. She is not well-versed in the disorders she claims to treat - sent me a google link to a research study about some treatment and when I asked what it was, she responded, "I don't know, we'll figure it out together!" She then very rudely discharged me for my case being too severe without offering any post-care or follow-up options.

I felt Leslie was very one-sided and told my daughter who is dating a recovering alcoholic that Some alcoholics CAN drink, it just depends what kind of alcoholic you are.. I questioned her credibility, and then Leslie asked me to leave. I am worried for both my daughter and her future relationship with a recovering alcoholic, especially if my daughter tells him its OK for him to drink. Leslie has not helped our relationship with my daughter at all, and has in fact, deepened the gap.
