This practitioner prescribed my 16 year old brother Xanex. There was hardly any additional monitoring and no suggestion of counseling. The "easy fix" one may call it. This set him down a path of drug and alcohol abuse. His drug of choice? "Xans." This resulted in an impaired driving charge and a suicide attempt at age of 20. His drug of choice? Still "xans." And because he had a history of prescription his provider after Leslie found it suitable to continue the script. Heartbreaking as a sister.
