Terrible. She had no plan or methodology to move forward or any direction for that matter. She wasted months on background and non-issues that neither of us felt relevant to our current situation and voiced our concern. It was dismissed or ignored. Lesley is an exceptional and amazing counselor! She is excellent with pinpointing issues and providing direction--not to mention incredibly approachable, tactful and kind. I highly recommend her.

For 18 months my Ex continually made false accusations, gross generalizations, absolute statements, deflected any blame, and flat out lied. Leslie did not question, rebuke, or even slow her down. If I expressed doubt, frustration, exasperation, or dared question there was hell to pay. There was no end to it it just kept going and going. My partner was using what she learned about me to cause more pain. I can't guess how many times Leslie tried forcing gas lighting and projections onto me. She feels qualified to judge your aa program (happily sober 13years) and even told me to find a new sponsor. Who does that? I later visited a psycologist, in the first session he determine I have been subject to extended mental and emotional abuse by a complex B type, likely borderline. He has helped me more in 2 sessions than 60 or 70 with Leslie. If you suspect your partner has a personality disorder, your gender is male, or your sober from aa do yourself a favor and keep looking.

Yes, Lesley gives advice...lots of advice...advice whether it is wanted or not. She talks more than she listens. She seems to have a therapy box that she wants her client to fit into. She can be suprisingly judgemental and rigid.
