Lena caught both of my babies, and was exactly what I needed in a midwife. She took the time to get to know me during office visits and respected my choices. Most importantly, Lena served as a strong advocate for me in the hospital. I could not have asked for a better birth experience - both times.

Lena is knowledgable, approachable, down to earth, and respectful of my preferences. She was present for both of my births and most of my prenatal appointments. She listened to my thoughts, feelings and valued my input, always including me in my birthing process, plan as my births unfolded. She was never rushed or pushy and let me lead as much as I wanted to. I continued to follow with her even after my kids were born for my regular women's care. Forever grateful to her.

She took her time to be very thorough in her care. She has a very deep knowledge of women's health issues and provided that knowledge in a kind, caring and supportive manner. Genuinely, encouraged and guided me to maintain good health and well-being.

It's interesting that one of the reviews said this midwife judged them for being too small- I was told by Lena Cerbone during my labor that I should have considered my size before I got pregnant with my daughter. Yes, I was overweight but my pregnancy was quite healthy with my only issue being nausea. Everything I said was twisted to fit her narrative since I had chosen to be induced and she was not ok with that. She was absolutely terrible, rude, and inconsiderate. Ruined my birthing experience. She is the reason that I am not choosing midwives for my second birth. I was treated exceptionally better and received more compassionate care from the doctors on staff.

Judged my body type and said the iud wouldn’t work as I was so small. IUD was placed after ultrasound. Years later before the removal date, I was told the IUD wasn’t properly placed so I had to get it removed as it was almost falling out.
