Still Healing
It's been about a year since our son stopped seeing Leah and we are still torn up by our experience. She was not for our family and perpetuated division and stress. Our son got worse and worse for months until we were advised by other mental health professionals to discontinue treatment. Our son improved within a week or two after stopping his weekly sessions. I cannot recommend this social worker for kids. I have since learned the difference between social workers (LCSW) and counselors (LCPC, CMHC, MFT). Inviting a professional to help with your child is a vulnerable place and we were devastated by this experience.
