Downright Rude
Downright mean to me about my depression. I’ve never felt so much to blame for having depression. She told me if I lived my life different, I wouldn’t need medication. Even though mental health has run deep in my family and I have trauma history. Being blamed for it doesn’t help. :(

Sadder after Leah – Mar 31, 2025

Horrible provider
Telehealth
Horrible experience. I initially contacted her office in November of 2024 for an appointment. The central scheduler told me she would “see if the provider wanted me as a patient and call me back”. 2 weeks later I received a call and made an appointment. They could not see me until February, almost 3 months later. I waited for my appointment and the DAY BEFORE I recieved a call saying she would be out of the office. I was told that her next first available was now May. An additional 3 months for a total of 5 months. As a healthcare provider myself I understand unexpected things happen but this office nor this provider cared enough about her patients to have a mitigation plan in place to see patients she cancelled on in a timely manner. They honestly didn’t care. The receptionist Asia flatly stated “yeah, everyone is mad what do you want me to do”. I had to PUSH HARD and advocate for myself, demanding that they find me an appropriate appointment with another provider.

Bad Decision = Auto Immune Disorder
She took me off medication against the FDA guidelines. Now I have an auto immune disorder that almost took my life. I will forever be affected by her poor decision.

Unhappy in Bham
Belittled and chastised me for having depression. I quit the treatment I had so much hope in because I couldn't take her judgement of me each week. I think it would have been successful with a different doctor.

Not friendly or helpful
I came with questions on my new meds and she had no time to listen. She cut me off after my first question and told me that many drs prescribe the medication who "know what they are doing." Then she suddenly ended the appointment and rudely walked out. Now I'm taking a medication I know nothing about. I was shocked.

Dr. Pickett went above and beyond to arrange a referral to a colleague based on my medical problems. She explains everything really well and she is one of the few doctors who really cares.

She is a hottie. Curvy and a true Southern belle plus she helped me with my ADHD. Highly recommend her.

Ms. Pickett is very belittling. She contradicted everything I said. She wouldn't listen to me without interrupting. I have serious health issues that cause me to have depression & anxiety, but she didn't care about that. She's actually made my condition worse by treating me like I'm worthless. She actually told me that she thinks that I've learned helplessness. That's not something you say to someone who's suicidal at times. I guess she thinks I can snap out of it. Won't be returning to her.
