Dr. Laurie Stone, PHD

I have been a patient of Laurie Stone for almost 20 years. Laurie is very caring. She is always there for me. Very responsive when I text or call her. It is difficult to find such an intelligent and balanced therapist. I considered myself very lucky to find her when I arrived in the US. I had a bad experience with a therapist in the US before I met Laurie Stone. The other therapist would roll her eyes when I was talking and looked at me very bored. Laurie made me feel valued and she always listened to me with care. I do not have words to express all my gratitude to Doctor Laurie Stone.

My experience with Dr Laurie Stone has been extremely positive from my first contact with her, which was an immediate return phone call. She responded within 24 hours which I found very comforting. From her immediate action I felt I could trust her. She sensed my need and was "was there for me" which is obviously a very important aspect of a therapeutic relationship. During our sessions she demonstrated insight into my problems, a deep emotional and intellectual understanding of my personality and my conflicts, and a kind hearted approach to communication.
