First visit: I gave her my history with practitioners, a brief analysis of developmental psych info, and before I could even finish, Ms Stevenson launched into “advice mode”. Ok, not a problem. I let her know, as a patient, that I don’t respond well to that because of XYZ (hopefully kept confidential), and she adjusted, asking me a series of questions that felt like a “gettin to know you” thing. Great! I set another session. Within 20 minutes, no questions about anything that happened within the last session, and on my lunch break from work, so I light up a cigarette. This “therapist “ proceeds to laught AT me for a good 10 min. Very professionally, of course. She then tells me how I seem like I’m in a 50’s movie because smoked a cigarette on video conference with her. Good Lord...this “therapist” has listened to nothing of what I’ve said. She’s concerned with me smoking a cigarette on my lunch break, and she laughs at me. Bye
