Lauren Lien, PA-C

I already have a PCP, but when my husband needed a random appt he got her and everything he conveyed sounded really spot on. So the next time MY pcp wasn't available, I asked to be scheduled with her, and she went beyond every hoped for expectation. I was post-partum with Immune Thrombocytopenia Purpura (platelets get destroyed, bleeding becomes a huge issue) and being on high dose steroids which suppressed my immune system, I just KEPT getting sick. I had BOTH Influenza A that season AND Human Metapneumovirus that lingered for a couple of months, which even went through my sinuses and I had to have 2 root canals due to that infection. She had me come back in multiple times (since I was in such a precarious situation medically), took every concern seriously, made sure I had every extra inhaler and medicinal tool available. If my PCP ever leaves, there's NO question my next is Lauren. She's my 2nd go to every time I call. SO KIND, and doesn't leave stones unturned.

First off, Lauren is incredibly kind and uses all of the time together effectively. I have always gone into doctors appointments expecting to get gaslit and not listen to about my pain. I am a mental health provider, so having a provider who is trauma informed is important to me. Lauren is the most trauma informed and mental health aware provider I have ever met. She also seems to work from a HAES perspective so I wasn’t told to “just lose weight” as I have before. When a provider she referred me to refused to schedule me without my parents records (who are not alive), she advocated for me and told them they must schedule me to get genetic testing. I have been recommending Lauren to everybody I know.

PA Lien is an excellent family practice caregiver. I really appreciate how much time and energy she gives to me. I feel like my health is in good hands with her.
