Dr. Lauren Gorog, PSY.D

We recently started sessions with Dr. Gorog for my son and within the first 5 minutes of our session, I knew we were in the right place. My child immediately felt comfortable engaging with Dr. Gorog and sharing exactly what was on his mind. What I find even more comforting was how she didn't miss a beat with play therapy and just let him be a child while gaining insight into his situation. For months, we've been looking for answers and after many confusing stops through our diagnosis journey, I am feeling hopeful for the first time. I look forward to not only the success that I know will come for my son but also examining my own mental health under Dr. Gorog's care. THIS is what mental health support should look like for everyone, everywhere.

I started seeing Dr. Gorog after trying with other master level counselors and psychologists, unfortunately none of them ever described what they believe I struggled with or how long our therapy or treatment might last. I felt like previous therapists were ok with just chatting instead of helping me with what I was there for. Dr. Gorog is straightforward and will tell you exactly what she thinks you are struggling with, what therapy/treatment might look like, and the duration. Best money ever spent. I still go see her now periodically and she helps with whatever comes up.
