I saw her prior to bariatric surgery and it was the most unpleasant part. The surgeon at UK and the nursing staff was fantastic, but I hated having to come in for these appointments before I could get approved for the surgery because her attitude was just very discouraging. She seemed judgmental when we would discuss things relating to the pre-op diet, like this process was supposed to be easy. If it were easy, I doubt I would be exploring an option as serious as surgery. I also could never get an appointment after 2:00pm and that seriously affected my work schedule. I’ve never heard of a provider that only saw patients a few hours out of a day. It was just a very unpleasant time that I had to suffer through to get to my surgery, but thankfully the rest of the staff made up for it and my surgeon was amazing.

Dr Lauren Crockett is awesome. I wasn't able to see Dr. Kathleen Martin but Dr. Lauren took care of me she really listened to me asked me if I had any questions she wasn't rushy like so many doctors if you cannot see your original doctor see Dr Lauren. I told my husband I really like her and wish she was my primary care doctor for everything!! If I cant get an appointment with Dr Kathleen Martin in the future for whatever reason I will request Dr Lauren she is the best ...
