Cancelled my husband's appointment with no explanation why, no way to contact to figure out why or how to reschedule

I feel seen and I feel heard. She lets me take the drivers seat while also being a helpful navigator. While there is guided things we do work through, what happens day of is still in my court. I like this because there might be a week where I just need to talk something out. There might also be a week were things are ok and I'm ready to dig back into the the topic we have been working through. The main point is she always seems to know how to respond to whatever I need each session and dose so with gentleness and compassion.

Laura is amazing, I really took a chance on her because my last therapist had tons of experience but we’re only offer me sessions through text. I didn’t find that beneficial at all, so I decided to look for a new therapist and that’s when I came across Laura. I noticed she had less experience in years, So I figured maybe she would have more availability for video calls that would be more suiting for me and my needs as well as fresh education. We ended up getting matched, and I had no idea that she would be as amazing as she is. Our first session was the last day of 2021, and what a great way to bring in the new year. We have had eight sessions so far, and I feel like I’ve already made so much progress and realization. I have her to thank as well as myself, She listens to me and provides great feedback and I feel like I’m in a complete safe zone. I got so lucky, I think she is great.

My sessions are short with Laura but I always find myself having something thing to say, Laura makes me feel safe and able to communicate deep things I have hidden away

Laura has been a godsend. It’s comforting to talk to someone that actually believes what you are saying and seeks to understand your concerns. I love that you gets input about where I’d like to progress and grow not just where she thinks I should be doing work. Very much a partnership.

Laura is attentive, compassionate, and understanding. After only a few sessions, she has made me feel safe and comfortable in sharing my struggles. She has given me many helpful tips and techniques to cope with my stress and anxiety. I’ve experienced several different therapists, and Laura makes me feel so relatable. I was at my lowest moment in my life before meeting Laura. I'd recently gotten out of a toxic relationship and was coping with a barrage of emotions that made me depressed on a regular basis. Because of my past experiences, I had a negative impression of counseling, but that all changed when I started working with Laura. Even though I still have a long way to go on my healing journey, I can confidently state that I am in a much better place than I was when I first started.
