Unless you are a middle-class, able-bodied white woman, this provider is completely unequipped to work with you. I had to endure her ablism (telling me to go sit in the hall when my medical condition meant I could not participate in her group activities) and xenophobic macroaggressions personally and witnessed her microaggressions towards other immigrants and persons of color. By far the worse experience I have had in therapy was trying to get this woman to understand why I did not feel safe in her presences without clear boundaries regarding civil rights violations and expectations as to what would occur when those boundaries were disregarded and civil rights violations took place in group therapy settings. Find another therapist.

She is amazing. I suffer from Complex PTSD (C-PTSD), and I was so happy to find a therapist who specializes in EMDR. I am finally free from the trauma. She is very kind, listens very well, her voice is very comforting. The entire atmosphere is calming, the whole office is. I have been to several places before and they look white and "sterile," not very comforting and welcoming.
