I have been seeing Dr. Patterson for the last three years and 2 of my 3 kids for the last two years (my oldest has perfect vision). She's friendly, always greets you with a smile, not only takes your concerns seriously but also addresses them THOROUGHLY in your exam, and explains any findings in a simple/calm way that's easy to understand. This to me is very important and reassuring that I can handle my medicines and care for my condition on my own at home between visits without doubt/second guessing/worrying that I am doing something wrong. She is also absolutely AMAZING with kids! My kids were 3 and 5 at their first exam and it was immediately apparent that Dr. Patterson had the expertise to perform a thorough comprehensive eye exam within the time frame of a child's attention span that is also an engaging, educational, and positive experience for the child. I HIGHLY recommend her for both adults and children for simple vision exams, as well as for management of eye conditions.
