Laura Mason, NP

Laura Mason has a good bedside manner, and this is what led me to like her and go to her for quite a few years. But after a while, there were a few instances where she didn't take my concerns seriously that ultimately led me to seek a different doctor. In one instance, I was having trouble breathing among other symptoms and instead of looking into it, she suggested I make sure to wash my sheets frequently and get a HEPA filter "because it was probably just household allergies." When my symptoms worsened, I went to a different doctor who actually ran tests and it turned out to be pneumonia. In another instance, I confessed that I experienced pain during intercourse (which is not easy to admit or talk about) and she asked, "Do you even love your husband?" and basically told me I just need to relax. Which, of course, did nothing to help the situation. She might be a good doctor for some--for me, I lost faith in her after those experiences.

Laura has been absolutely amazing to work with. I was really struggling with testosterone levels and my overall general health. She informed me and walked me through a process that was custom fit for me. She took the time to listen and really understand my struggles. I would recommend Laura Mason to anyone who is looking for a quality health care provider or anyone who is unhappy with whom they are currently seeing! Jeremy Ferguson
