Dr. Laura Haughie, DPT

I recently completed my treatment plan . Dr. Haughie was extremely thorough in tracking down my issues. What started out as lower back pain and numbness in my fingertip, was resolved with an exercise regime, manual manipulation- which also straightened my arm and even out my legs. I will always need daily exercise but no surgeries were necessary to straighten my kyphosis and my fall risk was eliminated. She is the best DPT I have ever been to and would recommend her highly.

I was introduced to Dr. Laura J, Haughie, a physical therapist in Deerfield Beach, because I was suffering from a nerve pressing on the L5 joint of my lower back, spondylosis and osteoporosis. Dr. Laura helped to improve my balance, strength, and mobility while reducing my pain. Dr Laura’s assistant, Amber, made sure I did my exercises correctly. Dr. Laura asked questions to determine the right treatment to improve my balance, range of motion and reduced my pain. She has extensive knowledge, experience and judgment for a successful recovery. My goal was to improve my balance, strength, mobility while reducing my pain Laura improved my overall fitness, health and quality of life within a few weeks. With their guidance I was confident that the treatments would improve my strength and balance and decrease my pain. I felt that the treatments improved my condition with each visit. They had compassion and a positive bedside manner.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Laura. From the moment I met her I knew she could help with my issues. She is knowledgeable and thorough. Everyone of her patients that I spoke with has the same sentiments as I expressed. After several sessions, I am doing much better. Finally there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I broke my shoulder in two spots and separated the A/C joint. I went to see Dr. Laura Haughie after doing research into physical therapists in the area. Dr. Haughie is definitely very knowledgeable and we had no trouble communicating. Thanks to her physical manipulation, she was able to break all my adhesions, or scar tissue. I reached 100% range of motion, and started strength training with her and now am on my own doing exercises she prescribed. Without her I would not be where I am now.
