Laura Doti, NP

I visited with Laura Doti for the first time yesterday, she was kind and gentle and listened to all of my questions and answered them, she did not rush me out of the office. What stood out to me most is that she reviewed my file and knew my history before my appointment, that was refreshing.

Don't work with her if you want any care or compassion. Me and my little sister both left crying because she was so rude to both of us. She was genuinely so rude and the writeup in my patient portal was so hurtful. Such a mean and insufferable women who doesn't seem to like working with patients.One visit to another gyno and they actually tested me and treated me instead of doing basic tests then being lazy and just saying I have vulvodynia(2 other doctors and myself said it was entirely impossible. WORST DOCTOR EVER

Nurse Doti is rude And condescending. I went in for a visit she was dismissive . She should not be working in this field. As you can see in her previous reviews many others feel the same . If incould rater her zero starts I would . I would not trust to care for my house plant. She also has poor judgemnt

Wow, I'm so surprised by these reviews! My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Laura this week and she's wonderful! She's down to earth and doesn't speak down to you like many other doctors do; she's great! I wish she could be the one delivering my baby. I trust her!

Laura Doti is the reason as to why I am leaving this practice. She is extremely rude, judgmental, talks over you, and has the WORST BEDSIDE MANNER. HORRIFIC!!! As a patient, she made feel so uncomfortable, it was difficult to express my wishes and birth plan. Worst of ALL, during this Covid Pandemic, she DOES NOT write her own patient's critical health related note, has the idiotic office manager with no command of the English language do her dirty work, and doesn't even double check or sign the note. They use a stamp of Dr. San Roman's signature, PATHETIC!!! You as a patient, are expendable to this NP. She doesn't care about the patients, pregnant mothers are just a paycheck. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm honestly a little surprised by all of the negative reviews. I have seen her for a number of years. She always is kind, pleasant, takes her time to address all of my concerns. I never feel like she rushes. Nothing but good experiences for me.

This office is amazing... But I agree with all of these women, This office is great minis her. The girls at the desk are a pleasure and so is the delivering doctor. I left Suffolk OBGYN and she was there horrible experience with her as well came here and unfortunately loved it but I just make sure I don't get her at my appointments

The most unprofessional and rude health care provider that I have ever dealt with. One time with her was enough for me. She has terrible bedside manner. I went in to my OBGYN office for a colposcopy which was done by her and I left in tears. She didn’t tell me what she was doing to me and when she was doing it, she just did it. She made me feel terrible and dismissed my pain. I basically felt belittled. She did a biopsy and without even knowing the results yet obviously because she didn’t send it out, told me I will need TREATMENT that results in SURGERY. She scared the sh!t out of me and caused me endless anxiety for 2 weeks. Met with my OBGYN 2 weeks later and turns out I don’t need ANY of the things she said. You DO NOT tell a patient treatment they may or may not need without any test results yet. She shouldn’t have a license. Stay away from this woman. She literally diagnosed me without even having my results.... And she was so wrong....

My experience yesterday with Laura Doti was horrible. As an over forty weeks pregnant woman you would expect a general level of kindness. This was not the case with her. She was rude, verbally aggressive and inconsiderate. Even after making me cry, she did not stop her line of badgering questions. I am disgusted that this woman is employed and allowed to work with patients. She needs some serious sensitivity and bed side manner training. I will have to reconsider whether or not to remain at this practice after my pregnancy as I can’t imagine returning to a place where she works. Truly disgusting experience with a truly unprofessional woman. Very upset after my experience.

Very unprofessional and no bedside manner. Very judgemental and made inappropriate/rude remarks during my exam. This was a few years ago (2011) and I switched offices to avoid ever seeing her again. I wish I would have complained to the office because she made me so uncomfortable.

Very concerned that this individual is in the medical field after my experience this week with her. Oct 2018

She's terrible. No bed side manor. Makes you feel stupid. Minimizes your symptoms and feelings.

Horrible.
