Cancelled less than 4 hours before appointment
Starting therapy is such a vulnerable time. Mentally, you know you are not in a great place, so you try reaching out to others. It’s scary. I reached out and connected with the secretary of Shorepointe. She arranged a date and time for Laura and I to meet. I received a confirmation text about 24 hours before the appointment. Less than 4 hours before I was supposed to meet I received a cancellation phone call. I was told I could come in an hour earlier if I chose…this might have been a suggestion I could have followed through on but not with only three hours notice. Unprofessional at best. Wish I had better things to say about this situation. I should have trusted the other reviews about Shorepointe that all seem to say scheduling is challenging.
