Latina Griffin, LCSW

I saw Latina for a series of 8 sessions to help with depression and anxiety I'd been experiencing. It seemed clear to me that she cared about me as a patient. She listened intently and did her best to make sure there was as much clarity as she could, both by making sure she understood what I was trying to say and doing her best to make sure I understood what she was trying to say. She helped me understand a number of issues I was experiencing, including those that stemmed from childhood and those that were only recent developments. She was quite perceptive, seemingly recognizing what was wrong before I could even put it in to words properly. I felt heard and I felt challenged in positive ways to work on getting better.
