I saw him for family therapy about 5 sessions. He's a nice guy, somewhat sarcastic, but in my opinion, not at all good for a family therapist for those with mental health issues. In the 3rd session I felt he was pushing me to start working, even though I told him I didn't feel ready, due to a severe anxiety disorder. He said "Well, you're more capable than you think." I felt he wasn't understanding me at all, I felt he was picking sides with the other, and was pushing to make the other family member happy. His approach was once I was functioning, then the other person would change, and the focus was all on me to change first, not the other person. (The other member had a very big part, resentful and very toxic) He even gave me a homework assignment and when I mentioned he didn't give the other family member anything he said, "oh, you want it fair?" I was almost in shock after that. I should've just ended it there.
