Laci does not respect your medical choices, and it appears Dr. Cruzan does not either. If you do not like being bullied into making medical decisions that you do not want to make, don’t go to her. Since I am resistant to doing what they think is best for me, Dr Cruzan is threatening to stop being my doctor. I am on a medication that he has happily prescribed for 15+ years, and it has terrible side effects if stopped. Apparently, this does not matter. He has known since becoming my doctor what my feelings are. I am learning more about my condition (not from them, they just say do this, take this) and am ready to start treatment. I have such negative feelings about his staff, I don’t ever want to set foot in their office again. But I really have no choice as finding another doctor would be extremely difficult. So if you have strong convictions about your healthcare, do not go to Laci. She will just demean you and dismiss any reasons or reservations you have. I’ll be seeking medical care from another provider network, far away from Integris. Hopefully I don’t die from withdrawals while doing so. For the record, I have always liked Dr Cruzan. He is kind and appeared to accept my choices. But since becoming director, he seems more interested in covering his own a than the emotional/mental well being of his patients.

She was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. She's straightforward and answered all my questions with ease. She explained my procedure in great detail beforehand so there were no surprises.

She doesn't take the time to understand her patient's needs AT ALL! She likes to push off uncomplicated issues that she can take care of on others. She LOVES to refer her patients to specialists even when they aren't necessarily needed and she gets very upset if you question her methods. TRUST ME, STEER CLEAR OF THIS PERSON!
