Weird that others had this experience. I just got KP insurance again and am on hold to see if Atkin is still accepting patients. If he is, I would love to have him as PCP again. As a child, he diagnosed my Cat Scratch Fever and treatment was successful. He was always attentive and listened to my needs. His MA Blaine always did a wonderful job as well. They made a great team. So I'm not sure if things changeds since then, but I'm going to see if he's able to be my PCP again.

Arrogant, condescending, and dismissive. "You will be in pain the rest of your life, learn to live with it." Isn't Kaiser's slogan THRIVE?

My wife and I have been seeing Mr Atkin for 5 years now. He has always been great, listened to our needs, and then coaches us. Not always rushing to give us a pill. He also always remembers me even though I only see him a couple times a year. I would recommend him without a doubt

He skirts around all your questions, trying to make the appointment as quick as possible...I feel like nothing was accomplished at my appointment(which I waited 3 weeks for) what a joke.
