I have been to multiple psychiatrists and have never felt listed to or helped. After a few visits with Kristie I found a medication combination that has me feeling better.

Kristine Aston Literally Saved My Life
I sought help from Kristine to help me understand an anxiety/panic disorder that was ruining my life, and making me question the point of living at all. She was able to intervene with a combination of medications and therapy. The medications she prescribed helped break what had become a seemingly hopeless downward spiral for me. With Kristine's help, I was able to stop having panic attacks and begin sleeping again. Once I was able to focus and funtion, Kristine identified an excellent CBT expert in her practice that I began seeing regularly. After about one year in her care, I can honestly say I am now enjoying life again. I am free from unmanageable anxiety or depression. She pulled me out of a very dark place. Kristine literally saved my life. She is an expert mental health professional and a genuinely good human being. If you are struggling and seeking help, please contact Kristine. You could not possibly make a better choice.

If you know the medicine you may need and have some sense of the treatment regimen that could work for you, Kristie is generally open to suggestions and willing to prescribe. She lacks knowledge about side effects (telling patients things aren’t side effects when even the informational leaflet that comes with the prescription specifies that exact side effect) and generally has a surprisingly poor understanding of the spectrum of mental illness (for example, multiple of her statements have directly contradicted respected medical journals and NIH and NIMH studies and guidance). She’s not a great prescriber, but she’s not the worst.

It’s pouring down rain and I am traveling over an hour to get to my appointment. I call at 5:32pm and leave a voicemail explaining that I am going to be late due to the traffic and the rain. Two minutes later I receive a phone call from the office asking if I will make it to my appointment, which I explain I am THREE MINUTES AWAY. I walk in soaking wet from the continued pouring rain for two recptionist to say “I have bad news but Dr. Ashton has left because you were 10 minutes late.”

Kristie has been supportive and involved in helping me find the right medications for my symptoms. Bonus points for her dog Gracie!

The front desk was slow and unresponsive. Kristine had a poor bedside manner. I felt like I was being verbally attacked whenever I had questions or told her how I was doing on the medications she kept throwing at me. She'd make off the wall comments like "only the creme of the crop could give you better treatment than I am". I never felt she really listened or had my best interest in mind. Bad experience all around outside of the dog she'd often have in the office, I liked the dog.
