I’m surprised to read the previous review. Kristin has always been very compassionate and kind to my 16 year old daughter. My daughter has moderate acne and Kristin reviewed everything with us from treatment options to skin care routines. She was upfront, thorough, and yes, as a provider she has to make you aware of the black box warnings and possible side effects. She did speak directly to my 16 year old, as she should. My daughter likes feeling included in her healthcare and treatment options. Of course Kristin also addressed my questions and concerns as well. She has been so kind to also share her own personal experience with acne. We appreciate her honesty, professionalism, and compassion.

I had an appointment with Kristin in Jan 2021 for my 15 year old sons acne. It was an incredibly horrible experience. Kristin is lacking significantly in sensitivity and empathy for the difficulty that teenage acne presents. She told my son his acne was the one of the worse cases she has ever seen and that if we didn't handle it aggressively he would have scarring and pitting on his face. She disregard me when I told her that her approach felt very aggressive. She asked my son if any of his friends have acne as bad as his. I cannot believe that a medical professional would say such insensitive things to a 15 year old. She spoke directly to my son, not to me, when she made the recommendations of the drug and proceed to go through a laundry list of black box warnings about the drugs. In my opinion, Kristin is not ready to be interacting with the public. She had one agenda and that was to push Accutane and antibiotics and not to care for my son. One star is a generous rating.
