Kristin Nelson, PA-C

I am so sorry to do this but I really liked Dr Nelson. I was happy when I started seeing her at the beginning of 2023. Her bedside manner was caring and I liked how she explained medical stuff in lay mans terms. Unfortunately my joy was short lived because her billing is padded with unnecessary codes and additional services. I tried to give benefit of doubt and sought clarifications. However she has not responded to any in person or written requests, despite multiple in person visits, mail and certified letters. I have spent the better part of more than a year trying to resolve why I am being charged for services that were not rendered. Her billing department states that only doctors can change/alter codes for services but she has not responded to any of my requests. I hope this review helps other patients to look for her inflated billing and compels a response.

She’s great! Listens well, she involved me in the treatment. We discussed different routes, and she allowed me to choose the one I was comfortable with. My daughter (17), also sees her. I’ve met some PA’s that are better than doctors, and she has been better than the majority that I’ve seen. If she doesn’t have the answer or doesn’t feel comfortable in an area, she helps you find someone you’re comfortable with. (I have several autoimmune diseases, so if she feels it’s AI related, she has me check in with my rheumatologist or endocrinologist.)

Kristen Nelson is AMAZING! She actually takes the time to listen to you, she remembers you and your family members each visit. Truly a great PA!

Knowledgeable and attentive. Not over bearing and very impressive bedside manner. As a new patient, I was immediately set at ease.
