Kristin Bachman

Dr. Bachman is a nice person, but not effective. She placates the children and allows them to verbally abuse their parents without any involvment. While in a family appointment, my son told me to "SHUT UP". I find this highly disrespectful and inappropriate. One would expect the Dr. to interject at that moment and tell the child that this is not proper behavior. When I asked her (after the session) why she did not weigh in, her advice was simly "oh I have heard much worse". She also allow 'secret meetings' with one parent and the children to prepare (and script) for future meeting with the other parent. Totally unacceptable. She sides with one parent, and creates a hostile and impossible scenario for the other parent. I am obviously the other parent (who is paying the bills BTW). At this moment, as a result of her ineffective and one-sided approach, I no longer have a relationship with my kids. End result, I have no relationship with my children. Great job Dr. B!

She wasted our time after the 4th session we called her because she did not provide any feedback or solutions. All did was sit there & listen and maybe ask a few quest. I could have had a friend do the same thing. How can someone be a pycholgist and offer nothing. Her excuse was that she doesn't help with relationships.. I was starting to have her Address my issues with my mother growing up. That is family related since she said she primarily works on family therapy. Waste of time!

Kristin helped my family in so many ways. I will always appreciate her kindness and the positive effects she has had on us.
