Dr. Kristen Plunkett, ND

Despite a confirmed infection and persistent symptoms, Dr. Plunkett failed to investigate the source further after the patient declined an unnecessary chest X-ray as there were no symptoms of lung infection or pulmonary distress and patient had finished 2 courses of antibiotic as a precaution against pneumoni with no improvement in symptoms.Dr. Plunkett's misdiagnosis months later, after ignoring our expressed suspicions of infection, led to a serious infection going untreated for months. This resulted in an emergency surgery for an infection. The patient entered ER and was in septic shock 4 days after Plunkett diagnosing the situation as viral, despite our continued concerns about infection. This was only 1 incident, but we have had to limit details of other instances because this site would not post our review. Our experience with her over the course of a year was appalling.Due to these concerns, we urge caution to anyone considering Dr. Plunkett as their healthcare provider.

I feel like I'm coming back from zombie land. I feel so much better I can't tell you. I was so ill for so many years and could not get any of my Western medicine doctors to even take me seriously. I have More to go but I know I'm on the right path. I love with doctor plunkett is doing for me I highly recommend

Not impressed. My first appointment went great. She said “I think we can get you feeling good to where you don’t have to take all these vitamins and medicine”. I followed her instructions to a T. My follow up appointment was terrible. She said “don’t bother coming back if you’re feeling better”. What?? I thought I was on the road to not taking all these vitamins and medicine. She gave me no guidance or instruction on how that was going to happen. I’m very disappointed. I do not recommend seeing her if you have health issues that you want fixed. I gave her two stars because I am feeling better with I feel like a little bit of her guidance on what vitamins to take but I will be seeking other care.

Dr. Plunkett has been my Primary Physician for over four years and is THE BEST! Because I’ve worked in the medical field for over thirty years, the test of time and experience has shown me how incredibly fortunate I am to receive the outstanding care I have consistently gotten from Dr. Plunkett and her superb staff. Every aspect of care has been top notch and it will be a sad day if I ever need to move away and try to find another Doctor of similar caliber. Dr. Plunkett’s Expertise, Compassion, and Efficiency are second to none. Mahalo nui loa.

I have confidence in Dr. Plunkett's knowledge and her sincere concern for my health. She does not try to put a bandaid on a problem. Dr. Plunkett seeks out the root of my concern and works up a plan to treat it.
