It never happened. Was supposed to have a call yesterday and couldn't get him by phone, text, headway, or his zoom link. Then tried to track him down @ JCMC, which is his top google hit. It took 25 min of being bounced around before someone there even knew who he was because he only covers there on weekends. This whole thing sent me into an anxiety attack... one of the things I was going to see him for. I finally get a call back from him and he didn't know who I was or how the appointment was booked (Headway). Benefit of the doubt, we reschedule for today @ noon. Again he missed it, and 10 min late replies to my text to say give him 25 min. After 35 min, I tell him I'm going to find a different therapist/councilor. He calls within 2 min with an excuse that a heated family session was running long. I can understand that, so just communicate it... in the text you sent... ~40 min prior. Therapists/councilors need to be able to communicate, and clearly he can't.

Dr. Kingsley is amazing and will do ANYTHING to help his patients! He is very open-minded and caring towards my daughter and I as his new patients. I look forward to working with Dr. Kingsley! He is also very attentive, and responds quickly to all of his patients no matter what it takes! Thank you Dr. Kingsley! I wish I can give 10 STARS!!!

I am surprised with the positive reviews, as well. Dr. Kingsley was not very receptive or helpful when I was describing what I was going through- he just pushed pills on me and told me to see a therapist or counselor to help me with those problems. He shrugged me off all of the time and only became engaged when he was upping my dosages or adding more pills. The first meeting with him ever, I told him I had never been medicated before, and he put me on 4 different medications, two being Clonazepam and Zoloft. That makes no sense, and when I told people, including my therapist, she was horrified. I cut all ties with him and am finished taking all of my medicine. Do not go to him, he is a jerk and only wants to keep you on medication.

I’m honestly surprised by the good reviews I’ve seen because my experience with him was terrible. He wouldn’t listen to me, would get snippy when I couldn’t understand what he was asking and was rude to me several times. When he asked about my level of anxiety on a scale from 1-10, I said I’m not really sure, and he said “Come on just pick a number, this isn’t the lottery.” I rushed through the rest of my screening with him because I was on the verge of tears. One of the worst experiences I’ve had with a psychiatrist and needless to say I won’t be returning to him again.
