I came in earlier today for a minor work injury. The nurses that took my blood pressure and temperature appeared incompetent. One nurse had to help the other just to figure out how to put the blood pressure cuff on my arm as if it was her first time doing it. My temperature was low when using the no touch thermometer and the nurse just blamed it on the weather. I told her I had been wearing my jacket in the waitingroom and she brushed it aside and got an ear thermometer to get a different reading. They never told me if my blood pressure was ok or not. They left after asking me some standard questions. A few minutes later the doctor came in and he was very rude and patronizing about my job title and injury making disrespectful jokes. I don’t feel like my concerns were taken seriously or addressed fully.
