i saw kerry for about 18 months total. she recommended i read a book by pema chodron, a woman who first ignored, and subsequently blamed, a SA victim. and when i called her out on it she said, 'I don't see it that way.' it's literally not in dispute. chodron has admitted to the behavior and the whole story is even worse. that, by the way, is the one thing she did to try to help me. other than that she just sat there. so, if you just need someone to listen to you, she might be fine. but, she does not understand neurodivergence at all. oh and she tried to pawn me off on an $18000 outpatient program that she knew I couldn't afford. money was a frequent topic of discussion, so this was just...she also told me she was there to 'be my witness.' that rattles around in my brain a lot.i felt shamed and marginalized by kerry. it was not a good experience and it has made me reluctant to seek therapy again.

When I need support and guidance this is the person I come to see.
