my son loves her
As he says she is “the bomb.” She’s connected to him in a way other counselors have not. She has been very helpful navigating high school issues.

Disappointed. Always left feeling like I needed more from her because she would sit and stare at me silently. I wanted more feedback and discussion with her but I basically had to do all the work. That’s not what I went to therapy for. I also always(!!) had issues scheduling with her and the last time I spoke with her, I had to let her know that I had to reschedule with her but I gave her 5 days notice and she came back with a rude response saying she will no longer accommodate me. She constantly told me she would send a text with her availability after our appointment and then never texted so when I finally reached out, I waited 2 months for the next appointment. Overall, not a great experience.

Actively Listens & Gives Feedback
What a find. She actually listens and gives feedback. I don’t feel like I’m talking to a wall that sits there and nods. She gently guides me through discovering what is at the root of my struggles and works with me to create a plan to deal with it all today. She holds me accountable when I need it. Who knew therapy could be this good.

I dealt with the sudden and unexpected terminal illness of my husband last year. Kerry was virtually by my side throughout my loss; I could reach out any time of day or night when my world was spinning around me. She accommodated my need for human contact by making alternate arrangements to see me in a socially distanced manner when the screen time wasn’t enough. My world fell apart last year. She continues to support me with my grief and loss and I have adjusted to teletherapy. I hope life moves on and we are in her office soon. I am high risk in coronavirus and will continue screen meets until then. I never thought therapy would be for me; I can’t picture my life without therapy now.

Extremely unprofessional! Cancels appointments last minute multiple times. Doesn't bill properly, chargers above approved insurance cost, and harasses you for instant payment. When you try to talk to her about these issues, she is dismissive and argumentative. Definitely not a comfortable or positive environment that she claims she provides for you. If you want help, I would stay far away from her and see a licensed therapist. (She is a licensed social worker) No one should deal with bullying, disrespect, and stress on top of what you are already personally going through. Wish I read reviews before seeing her, clearly, I am not the first person she has treated this way.

I sadly have tried to contact Kerry for another appointment after seeing her a few times. She has ignored multiple attempts of contact. If you truly need help, avoid this therapist.

I felt comfortable right away. Her warmth and genuine caring made it easy to open up to right away. She came across as sincere and genuinely seemed to care that I had a voice in developing the goals of our work together. This was the first time I felt in partnership with a therapist. I’m thankful I landed in her office.

My daughter with Kerry for about a month or two, she then had a depressive episode and was put into the psychiatric ward over night. I made multiple attempts to schedule a new appointment for her with Kerry after she was discharged from the hospital and i never received a response, even after mentioning that she had been hospitalized. If you want a therapist who truly cares about her patients, steer clear of this woman!!
