Kelly Smartt, MS

Kelly provides a collaborative approach. Having worked with other collaborative providers, I would rate her technique as acceptable. Kelly would be good with mature Caucasian females. Unfortunately for me, however, Kelly forgot key experiences I had shared with her, and did not address topics surrounding my experiences as a person of color. She also lacked skill hiding her frustration with me when I attempted to push these topics. In her defense, I did not openly articulate my issues with her approach. I do believe she would have appropriately corrected issues if I had, but I didn't feel comfortable bringing it up.
