Keiala Price, NP

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with Keiala Price that left me crying afterwards. I would echo the other review left on this website as she was condescending and dismissive of my health concerns and made feel like I was stupid for asking any questions. She made me feel so small and worthless that day. I am disappointed in Kaiser that they have a nurse that treats patients like this. In my opinion nurses are supposed to be knowledgeable and compassionate, but unfortunately this wasn't the case. I will never go to this Kaiser location again. I expect better out of Kaiser. Up until this point I have had mostly good experiences with Kaiser nurses, so hopefully this was the exception.

I would not recommend this NP. From the start of my visit, she was condescending and dismissive of everything I said. I was interrupted when trying to explain my concerns and the reason for my consultation. She was not kind or friendly and she showed no interest whatsoever in trying to calm my worry. Her nurse, Maria, was not much better. She mocked me for saying I had joint pain and hip pain when my appointment was with an OBGYN. She even mentioned the NP had laughed at that comment when she first saw it on my list of concerns. I never knew one had to silence all physical concerns not directly related to the particular department you are visiting. And, in any case, how do we know hip pain is not related to pelvic pain until a proper examination has taken place? The nurse also took time to let me know the hip is not a joint!? Excuse me? WHAT? Anyway, definitely not going back and certainly NOT recommending her to anyone I know.
