A little cold for a therapist
Kaycie never really made me feel comfortable. I found myself feeling really judged and I experienced the same thing as someone else had said. When talking about a difficult relationship and past trauma Kaycie did make some really hurtful judgements comments. Not sure if she was trying to come off as relatable or supportive but the delivery fell flat. I always felt like she felt that I didn’t deserve to be there or that my problems were that big of a deal. I felt super unimportant and small and would always leave the session feeling worse and made zero progress in the 6 months I saw her. I kept trying to give it time I know it takes a couple of sessions for therapists to really start being able to help you but that never came. Finally after 6 months I told her I didn’t want to come back all she said was “so you’re done” I nodded and she seemed annoyed almost? Just said “okay”. Not to be Tmi but I’ll never forget I told her I had self harmed and she just glossed over not a single word.

No
I think finding a therapist is somewhat personal. Unfortunately, she is not it. I couldn't begin to explain how bad the sessions were. I tried twice and both times left feeling exhausted. The faces she makes when you're sharing your personal issues are so unprofessional. She attacked and seemed disgusted with things I said about issues I was having with someone in my life. I was looking for help getting through a traumatic experience and she was set on essentially bad mouthing the other person and making me defend them. It felt like she was projecting her own issues onto me. I honestly have never had such a poor experience. Hopefully it was just my issues were a little too close to home for her to handle? Also, she practices in Weymouth, MA for Colony Care now. Not in Warwick any longer.
