Katrina Despinos, APRN

Katrina provides amazing service and care! She is super friendly and is always attentive to my needs and concerns. I can really tell she cares about her patients. During my visits, she spent extra time answering my questions and making me feel comfortable. I've had past experiences with providers where I felt rushed and unheard, but Katrina always offered the complete opposite. She also seemed to get along well with the other staff in the office and in the hospital. My entire pregnancy experience went really well!

Although she was caring to myself and husband, she treated her right hand staff absolutely terribly during my induction and delivery process. My nurses were incredibly diligent and caring and seemed to have my best interests at heart, advocating for me when myself and my husband could not. Katrina seemed skeptical of their assessments and even questioned me about things they said and did in front of me, which I believed to be EXTREMELY unprofessional. She also told me contradicting information to what the nurses told me about pain meds, which I thought was strange because I also had friends who told me of similar experiences (w/ pain meds) to what the nurses were saying.. and the nurses were ultimately right. Overall, I felt like Katrina felt as though she was better than the nurses helping her, rather than acting as a team, and that attitude hindered my labor & delivery experience because my nurses were AMAZING and would’ve probably delivered my Baby without issue, alone.
