Dr. Katlyn Hilton, DNP

I felt pretty confident at the start of the appointment because she listened. Didn't ask any questions but let me talk. And then told me that no - I couldn't have a cortisol test because 'you are a mom in your 40s - of course it'll be high' or any other diagnostics. She gave me nutritionist recommendations (although they were actually dieticians - she had to google that dieticians were the ones who have multiple years of education) and went off the deep end about my cholesterol when my prior practitioner (who quit the practice) was monitoring only. She had a flowchart she was going to follow. She did not listen to my concerns regarding cholesterol meds & stated 'well then you need to see a cardiologist and not me' and I had a call from a cardio office within a day. Very uncaring overall.

I wasn't able to build a rapport with Ms. Hilton. I feel like she had a very dry personality. She took complete control over the appointment, and I feel like I wasn't able to voice any concerns with her. I saw Ms. Hilton for my annual exam with a Pap test. When the results came back, they referred me to another office. Before I even got a call from Ms. Hilton's office, the other Doctors office called to schedule my appointment. Very alarming to hear my pap results from an unknown doctors office.

I was impressed.
