Katie Wenzel, FNP-C

We saw this provider at UC Health Urgent Care. She was annoyed at our questions and dismissive of our concerns. Gave us very little confidence that she was evaluating our son's full situation and offered very little medical based advice. Made statements such as 'you can give him the flu meds.. but I wouldn't give it to my kids', but 'some parents still want it'. Made the statement that 'antibiotics can't be the cause a fever' which I'll give her is probably a rare thing, but is still not medically accurate. Stated that flu meds have the side effect of 'hallucinations and other stuff' when asked what the risks are for using it. Not sure how we are supposed to make an informed decision on the medically technical risk of 'and other stuff'. Overall I would never trust this provider to guide me or my family with any medical related condition. It was clear she did not want to be there, did not think we had a valid reason to be there, and did not want to give us the time of day.

Katie is an absolutely wonderful provider I have no idea why 2 people left poor reviews. She spends time listening to me and my health concerns. She seems to genuinely care about her patients. She is always a happy person and is never rude.

Katie was very compassionate, listened to my concerns, and worked with me to create a plan of care that was best for me. I would recommend her to everyone!
