Amazing DIEP Flap Reconstruction Results!
Dr Egan performed my DIEP Flap reconstruction after a double mastectomy. The nurses in recovery talked about how wonderful her results were. It is obvious she is up to date on all the latest procedures and research.

Poor communication
To start I was I left waiting in the room for 40 minutes after being told the doctor would “be right in”. Most importantly her communication was terrible. I went in for a consult and she seemed confused why I was there, unprepared to discuss my options, and barely explained anything. It was a waste of my time except deciding that she will not be performing any surgery on me. I learned more from the appt notes about my supposed options than I did from her, so much so that I made them correct the notes to remove all the info she didn’t actually discuss with me. I don’t trust her.
