She explained more to me in 15 minutes than doctors have in years. Now I know why people are following her to Clifton Park.

She now works out of Clifton Park instead of Latham, I'm told due to personell changes. There is a good reason all of her patients are following her even if it's further away. She is one of the few that actually explains things and takes the time to talk to you about your concerns. I've seen other urologists in the past and won't follow up with anyone else. She and her nurse Lee make a a great team, they even remembered me from a practice i went to 5 years ago.

I saw Kate a few times for an elevated PSA. She then referred me to a doctor in the practice for a prostate biopsy. That came back low grade cancer and after seeing an oncologist I decided to watch my PSA before deciding on treatment. The doctor diagnosed me but I decided to stay with Kate because of her caring attitude and prior experience. I also have to say the front desk staff is helpful even when they need to reschedule an appointment. Kate and her nurse Leyah try to get to know you, not just treat you as a patient. I saw them recognize a patient from a previous practice which demonstrates that. Everyone in the office is nice and seems to really care, not just about doing their jobs.

I saw a new doctor in her new practice in Latham who was good and I will happily follow up with. But I have to recommend Kate and her nurse Lee who remembered me from their previous practice. It speaks to their level of patient care and personal interest in their patients lives.

I had a wonderful visit in the office. I was originally supposed to see Dr. Beer but my appointment had to be rescheduled. I had the best experience with Kate. She answered all of my questions with great explanations. Her nurse Lee was just as good. They were focused on my health, but also cared about me on a personal level. I hadn't met them before but am glad to follow up here.

On my first visit, Katie greeted me with a smile in her voice and attitude throughout the appointment. She focused on test results and explained their meaning completely and encouragingly. After she answered my questions, I was the one to end the visit; she didn't rush me in any way. I think she is a great addition to Dr. Beer's staff.

I have seen other urologists in the past, her care is the best I've received.

I had seen other providers in the office for years and always left with questions that were never answered. I saw Kate for the first time and left my appointment with all my questions answered. She is one of the few providers that takes the time to address her patients' concerns. I highly recommend her to anyone who has had similar problems, she is one of the few that seem to really care about her patients. She was also running ahead of schedule, and her nurse took me in as soon as I finished checking in 15 minutes before my appointment, which was surprising since most offices usually run late. The front desk staff also did their best to accommodate me with scheduling follow up given her office location changes.

I have been dealing with back today back UTI’s and never had them in my life. She listened to my concerns reviewed my ultrasound saw I had kidney stones but said we’d watch them and repeat the ultrasound in 6 months. She Rec I ended a trial long term probiotic/ antibiotic and see me in 3 months. I felt validated and she explained everything thoroughly. Very happy with my appointment and her recommendation.

I had microscopic blood in my urine and was referred to this office. Kate and her assistant Leigh were very kind, considerate, and took the time to get to know me. She then set me up with a doctor to look in my bladder. The doctor was nice enough, but I am more than happy to follow up with Kate in the future. She and her assistant are some of the kindest health care providers I have seen, and am happy to add her to my health care team.

I was delighted with the care concern and fast response to my condition. Kim and Serafina at the front desk were very efficient and helpful. I would highly recommend Kathryn for her expertise, caring attitude and efficiency.

I had an consultation for an elevated PSA level. She ordered an MRI and referred me to a physician in the practice that would be able to preform the appropriate procedure, which went well. The doctor was very nice and knowledgeable. I am happy to follow up with both of them in either location. Would highly recommend them both.

It wasn't easy to find her profile while she was at AUO, though she is relocating to Community Care Urology in Latham. I initially established with Kate for an elevated PSA, she explained all possible explanations and confirmed any elevation based on several markers. Her following explanations were very clear and helpful and she set me up with the appropriate physician to help determine my diagnosis through prostate biopsy. I can't thank her her enough for her bedside manner and answering any questions I had at any stage of my care. I can't think of another provider that gave me the time and care I needed to help me feel safe.
