Avoid Newton Wellesley orthopedic walk-in clinic. This physician assistant was not able to diagnose or offer any type of treatment options. I received nothing related to (discharge) instructions, a treatment plan or a referral. Nothing! I was advised if I was still in pain in 1-2 weeks that I could come back. No diagnosis and no treatment protocol. I had to specifically ask HER what can be done to alleviate the pain! Why is there is a walk-in clinic for orthopedic injuries yet, there are no physicians staffed on the walk-in side to even treat injuries? I feel I was dismissed by this PA when my injury complaint turned out to be a serious issue. If only she listened instead of making incorrect assumptions as to the source of my pain; so many things went wrong during this 15 minute rushed appointment. It was a complete waste of time. My problem could have been handled much earlier and much more efficiently had I been given the ortho referral and had she LISTENED. Please forego this PA
