I see that the other reviews are a few years old, so I wanted to make it clear that nothing has changed with Karen. It seems to be very important to her to push her personal opinions onto her clients, and cannot move on unless your opinion matches hers. I left every session feeling even more anxious than when I went in. There were subjects that I felt I couldn’t even bring up in a session because of the way she would react, which should never be the case in counseling. Karen is a very damaging therapist.

Karen was incredibly damaging. My new therapist was disgusted to hear some of Karen's recommendations.

An unyielding mass of dried clay. Refuses to listen to clients' problems, forcing her views to the point of actually interfering negatively in home lives. We went to counseling to get help, however, we both agree that this was excessively harmful, especially to my husband. Luckily we have found a PERSON to counsel us.
