Telehealth
She recommended dieting for someone with an eating disorder. After 7-8 sessions, she basically gave up and said it wasn’t worth continuing. In retrospect I’m so glad she did. This helped us find a new therapist whose focus is on building self esteem, finding healthy ways to deal with emotions, and who understands that diet culture fuels eating disorders.
